Artichoke Basille's Pizza - Astoria

This is definitely my favorite pizzeria in New York! Everything about it is amazing, especially the pizza—every slice is perfect. Make sure to eat while it's hot and fresh. The garlic knots are delicious, and the vodka and Sicilian pizzas are incredible. If you're within a 10 to 20-minute distance, you absolutely have to try the pizza here. It's also a great spot to hang out, with really good music playing. I give it a perfect 10/10!

I really enjoy the famous Artichoke pizza, and the service is quite good. They offer wine and beer, plus there's a bar table where you can enjoy a beer with your pizza, which is nice. The menu is somewhat limited, but their other pizzas are definitely worth trying; the paprika and meatball pizza was excellent, and my mother absolutely loves the crab pizza. They also have a great lunch deal: you can get two slices and a soda for $8, or two slices with a beer or wine for around $12. I've been here a few times, and I highly recommend it.

I ordered the Artischocke dish and was pleasantly surprised by the strong cheese aroma from the first bite! It was quite salty and rich—maybe a bit too much for my taste to consider it perfect. I wished there were more artichokes! Some of the sauce dripped onto the plate as I ate, and I finally dipped my crust into what turned out to be the best part. The crust was wonderfully crisp and sturdy!

Never had a bad disk here. The artichoke is heavy, but you have to have one. Servers are always active. They're open until 4:00, so it's good for late. Try also a crab pane

Pretty good BIG SLICE pizza. The best are the artichoke margherita pizzas. The tomato sauce on the pizza is excellent. You can usually get a groupon deal for full pie 4 beers for this location. The city location is more restaurant style but the Astoria location is pizzeria style. You can get a slice or pies. Service is good. One half slice will fill you up.
