Astoria Tavern

Great tavern located at an unusual intersection. I definitely plan to visit again in the evening when there's more going on.

I was really pleased to discover this place after The Bomb. It's a fantastic spot with an excellent bar and an outstanding bartender!

Fantastic prices and a wonderful variety! I love coming here after work to relax, play darts, and enjoy the jukebox before heading home. The bartenders are always friendly and very attentive.

The Tavern is an Astoria classic, a warm, friendly bar that's always a pleasure to stop by. Marc is the man, if he's working, he's my favorite bartender in Queens. I miss the barrel of peanuts from before 2020, not sure if they'll come back, but it is what it is. I have many great memories of trivia nights, watching sports, and St Patrick's Days here, and I hope they're here for many years to come. A proper Guinness pour too!

No food, but Astoria tavern is a friendly, Irish themed watering hole with a plentiful variety on tap. They actually know how to poor a proper pint of Guinness. Open, friendly atmosphere with good seating. Dart board, music, and quality screens to watch sports, and all the bartenders are top notch. Astoria Tavern also stays open later during the weekdays than most other Ditmars bar/restaurants. This is a great place to catchup with friends.
