I went to this restaurant because I had heard great things about their clam chowder. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. After placing my order, we waited 25 minutes for a bowl of chowder that arrived lukewarm.

So I have a cousin that works or worked at the chart room and she also work at Maritime bar in Astoria and I was homeless back in 2019 and 2020 and she didn’t help me get any food and she was manager of the chart room at the time And she wasn’t that nice to me but I went to this bar and I sang karaoke and a manager lady that works here at the tavern bought me dinner and she’s a complete stranger to me so I want to think that lady if she still works there she really made my night and show me that humanity still cares as far as my cousin she’s just all about herself and I hope she can be more empathetic and help others instead of acting like everything is hers
