General parts of ribs and brisket, a treasure chest of sauces, and a man passionate about his craft, and a fun folk atmosphere makes this an oasis for every tired and hungry traveler. A must stop! Look for the pages... You want a meal from them.
This place was great. It had a really cool mood - all chairs are padded in old band teas and they played a lot of blues and classic skirt. Both my husband and I tried the Brisket Sandwich with Memphis sauce. The guy told us they smoke the brisket for 30 hours with a dry rub and his partner makes all the sauces in the house. It shows - the meat was so delicate and perfectly carburized, and it was stacked high. I tried the Mac Salat and my husband had the corn cookies. Both were delicious. The Mac salad was even a little sharp, which I did not expect, but it was a pleasant surprise. Bring your appetite!
I'm not a bbq expert, but I can't argue with my palate. Intoxicating aromas of delicate brisket and ribs with a whole range of sauces for each region. Friendly staff also serves delicious pages. I love it!
WOW! What a surprise... This place staff and food....Amazing... I don’t normal post... but really the BBQ was perfect! Moist, the spices, portion sizes wonderful and the staff Perfect.... We will drive the 50+ miles for just the Best BBQ west of the Mississippi! We had the Chicken and the Ribs... I can’t say enough good things... Thank You Smoked Bones! You need Stickers and Tee shirts I’d wear one!
Awesome food! Get the three meat combo, it will feed two with plenty to take home! The sauces are fabulous and served on the side. Brisket was super tender with a nice charred crust. Pulled pork is tender and not overly soupy with little charred bits, great. The pork spareribs are plastic fork tender. Come eat here, you will not regret it.
