Starbucks - Astoria

This location was spacious and tidy. Our barista was polite and friendly. The drinks didn't take long to prepare. It's exactly what you expect from a Starbucks!

If you're searching for a Starbucks that consistently prepares your drinks correctly, is speedy, and maintains a clean environment, this is the place for you. However, if you're hoping to get some work done, you might want to consider another location. The music here is played at unusually high volumes compared to what you typically find at Starbucks. I could actually feel the bass vibrations through my laptop keyboard.

Trust me when I say go anywhere but here first of all these people just don?t know how to make coffee, Every time I get an iced espresso they put the ice and then run the hot espresso over the ice which waters it down to the point where it literally just taste like I?m drinking coffee flavored water. every time I order from here I always specify that I want the ice put last but no matter how many times I specify or ask they still always make it the wrong way. Coming from a barista of seven years that is not how you make coffee. God forbid you even correct them you just get the worst attitude ever. Specifically today I corrected the barista who is making the coffee incorrectly and told him to remake it because I did not want my coffee water down he proceeded to try and still serve me the coffee I just complained about. Terrible terrible terrible service. Starbucks please if you guys are gonna be charging a lot of money for a coffee then you should train your employees to understand and know how to make a proper coffee. Also keep in mind when you?re ordering an espresso it?s because you want a strong coffee if I wanted a water down drink I would?ve ordered a regular coffee

Very clean and organized. Such a great place to study or relax. Personal were very attentive and kind ! Great service !

It would have been okay visit, I am a frequent customer of this place. But today, the audacity of your staff reached to a next level of racism. I ordered my usual two hot lattes and two oatmeals. Got my lattes, but never got oatmeals. When asked where?s my breakfast, I got an answer ?Oh, you have ACCENT?. I asked to repeat what they said, and they repeated it louder that I have accent. No apology. No ?please let me get this right?. I asked them kindly to shove the breakfast, and left. Later I realize that they did not even get the Lattes right (see the pic). With a simple apology the problem would have been gone. Now, I?m out of 15 bucks, no coffee, no breakfast. Guess whether I am returning?
