In a pretty rude way they said that I can’t get in because I’m wearing shorts. Besides the fact that it’s simply illegal I have a question for owners. Boys, who do you think you are? You are pseudo-Irish bar with Pilsen on draft not a picky french Michelin restaurant. Be simple!
Kilkenny is a stereotypical Irish pub. Not the European version, but a kind of pseudo-corporate version, with the chachkis and signs that give an Irish pub its ambiance. The bar is great, overall, and is a fun place to hang out and drink some quality beer and eat some decent food. On weekends it is packed, and noisy for the over 30 crwod, however, it is a good place to meet people, and meet up with people to have some fun.
Crowded place, used to be a very enjoyable bar but then they started to play reggeton and cumbia, which is fine but it makes to loose some of the essence of an Irish Pub. Quite expensive but good food, there's a normal option of beers with just a few crafts ones. Also they use to have concerts inside, pretty cool.
Just like my ex, looks great, but isn't fun at all. You can listen to the same music anywhere in Asuncion, but without 15second gaps in between.
