We stayed in 'Building B, ' which was recently renovated. There are two entries (we were on the ground floor), one from the interior hallway and another from a porch that faces the pool area. The porch has a small table and two chairs, and it was the perfect place to enjoy the rain and thunderstorms that rolled through that evening. The room was immaculate it is clear that everything in the room was updated from the carpet up. The bed, linens, and pillows are super comfortable, and the room is nicely decorated. Would definitely stay again when the area.
We had such a wonderful time here! Our room was amazing, the pool was great and we had a fantastic time Bunch of Grapes Tavern. Julian and CJ made the best cocktails and the food was great! Wholeheartedly recommend the Pear Martini. Best cocktail of my life : Thank you : Rooms: 5/5
What a nice Inn! It's so close to everything. We stayed for a long weekend. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our suite with a balcony had a view of the pool. Everyone from the staff that we encountered was so friendly. Julian, our bartender, CJ our server, Nathan from maintenance, and Joshua from the front desk. The cocktails were yummy, and the food was also good. We recommend this place and will definitely visit again.
Interstate travelers, Ohio University Inn is a gem! It’s clean and comfortable and well attended by pleasant staff. And the setting makes the gem brighter. It’s located in the most beautiful college town I have personally visited, with an abundance of greenery, waking trails, and community-friendly public works. A refreshing overnight stay!Safety: It is located in a beautiful, safe community.Walkability: Walking trails extend front the hotel through parks, along the Shocking River, and into town.Food drinks: The on-site restaurant serves delicious, wholesome food, at least some of which is sourced locally. The crab Eggs Benedict is a special treat!Noteworthy details: Operated for the university so has a great community feeling but they welcome all guests.
The room was nice and the shower will blast your skin off which I like. You can also adjust the temperature in the room. The walls though were really thin and I could hear every cough and sneeze from the neighbors. Sadly I couldn’t sleep well because of the noise.
