English menu was available, the menu had several different Greek dishes. We ordered kebab, lamp kewer, Greek salad and other vegetarian dishes. hummus.. etc. All plates tasted super good. The freshly baked Pita bread was a kind of. We were 5 people and we were all happy about the food. The atmosphere was great and we decided to stay more and taste the desserts. We tried several delicious dishes and tea. The staff is super friendly, I remember the one who took our order, was called Panagiotis, he always served everything with a big smile and he was really friendly. Definitely recommended.
Best Pita Bread EVER! They offer it with a tomato dish when you sit first (you have to pay for it and you should get it as super tasty). Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. Here sat twice and loved the perfect grill and moussaka on the menu. Not a fan of her wine selection, but his decentness. Very recommended! And a must!
Very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly who were eager to let all our requests happen! The pork and chicken soupaki were well seasoned, tender and paired with beautiful grilled vegetables. Prices are somewhat more expensive than the average shop in Athens, but the quality is definitely there to justify it. The Turkish tea and hand humidifier at the end were very nice gestures and let us return as soon as possible.
After watching the changing of the guard at Parliament House head down to Barbadimos for some sensational traditional Greek food. Many variations of meat and some salads to please everyone. Great service with plenty of seating inside and out. Absolutely delicious.
Being so close to our hotel and receiving lots of positive ratings we gave this place a try. Started with a deep fried cheese and ham pastry which was okay, but not something I'd have again. The pan fried aubergine and kebabs were good and there was a lot of meat on those kebabs. I'm not sure what the dessert was as the waiter just brought a selection of desserts to our table, but it was nice. There were 3 dome shaped, honey-coated concoctions (see picture). Certainly a lot of food for a reasonable price. Service was quick and because we sat outside it wasn't too noisy. Most of the servers were friendly except the first lady who seemed a little curt, not sure if that was just a language issue. One thing to note if you sit outside is that there's the biggest outdoor heater attached to the roof I've ever seen. It put out a ton of heat and I was getting a little toasty sitting under it. This seems to be the norm in Athens during the cooler months as I expect the locals are more used to super hot temperatures.
