I went here as per 24 hs reception and I checked in almost at midnight. Located 100mts away from a very central metro station, with lots of tourists in the street, so was looking ideal for a girl alone arriving in the middle of the night. They told me they have to charge me more as a walk-in, than announced in Booking's website. OK. Paid it. It was late and I needed a bed to crash. But to be honest I could have paid half by walking 1 or 2 blocks away as it was low season. The room was old, súper noisy (open window facing the street) and smelled funny, but at least bed was clean and the mattress was good. No lockers in the rooms, I slept with all my values under my pillow hoping nothing will happen. There are 6 lockers next to the reception and cost 2 € that they charge every single time you open the locker box because of its coin system (I used them only from breakfast to check out time, to go for a walk in the city). Only stairs, no elevator to carry heavy luggage. Breakfast was terrible. Starting from the set up, súper old and stained chairs and tables with old creepy table cloth. Most available food was salad (yes, for breakfast, and no, it didn't even include that tasty cheese or yogurt from the Greek salads), and coffe was so watery you could bearly distinguish it from tea. I couldn't even have a shower because when I enter to the wc area, the smell was unbearable. To summer it up, old nasty building not renovated, very well located, but too expensive for what it is.
Not worth the money, it is cheap, but terrible. the bed is small and squeeky, only one electric outlet in the room, the bathroom has no window or ventilation, noise from the street all day and night. the location is great, and the staff is friendly and helpful..
Wonderful central location to walk around Athens. I stayed in a single for privacy etc. The room is appropriate for the price, simple small space, cramped bathroom. The hot water was hot, the bed was reasonable. If you're a larger person the shower might be uncomfortably small. The suggestion to eat at Thanasis, a kebab restaurant nearby was great (order the yogurt kebab).
Very friendly staff, included breakfast, cosy room with own bathroom and ac. Very smooth bedsheets. Squeaky bed. Overall a very nice stay for the price. No elevator tho. It is perfect if you dont expect absolute perfection. I enjoyed the stay here.
