Maddi Mae's Cafe - Athens

Chicken salad sandwich amazing salad w/ grilled chicken star eggs salad very problematic because it SO ADDICTIVE! Ladies there are absolute gems and I love going to this place! 6 stars of 5!

Good lunch in downtown Athens. A nice selection of cold and hot sandwiches, made on order, with chips and drink at reasonable prices. Ice cream in cup or cone soft serve and through the shovel. Service can be quite slow when they are overcrowded (which they are usually for lunch), but the environment is relaxing so order and relax while you wait. When they eat, they even take it to your table! Picky's recommendation: definitely worth a stop when you leave town. Only 7 minutes from I-75 and hands better than any fast food restaurant can be found directly from the highway.

We went on Saturday at 12:30. We have already eaten there and really enjoyed the burger, but they no longer have the burger on the menu. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. The next time we're in Athens, we'll be sure to stop on ice. The facility was welcoming and location and parking were both excellent.

The buffalo chicken wrap was the winner when we stopped in. Everything seems very fresh and the staff is friendly. The sweet tea is excellent.

I love the chicken salad when I go there. It seems since the administration has changed, but the chicken salad just doesn't taste like that. I don't know if they've changed the recipe or not, but it was just not as good as before. And the pasta salad I got was super dry. Only really disappointed with something I believed so much. I'll say the young lady in the register was very polite, but the food was simply not with what it was earlier.
