The Catch 22 Gastropub - Athens

The food was quite simple, definitely reminiscent of pub cuisine. I prefer Beef 'O' Brady's.

There's a fantastic little pub here in Athens! The servers are attentive and available when you need them, but they give you space when you don't. The burgers are delicious, and the loaded fries with pulled pork are a must-try appetizer—so tasty! My favorite side dish is definitely the Brussels sprouts. That being said, I wasn't impressed with their Reuben sandwich; I've had better elsewhere. Despite that, we'll definitely be back time and again!

What a great experience!!! We went for lunch and had a half Capresse salad a BLT and s couple of ice teas. This restaurant is a little more expensive than many other places, it?s it?s worth it. The food is fresh, perfectly prepared and nicely seasoned.Their fries are magical. We really appreciated the cloth napkins and serving platters. The restaurant has a nice feel withthousands of beer bottles on shelves around the perimeter. Service is top notch. An interesting feature is a tip shaming boardwith some patrons bills and tips?. come on folks?. servers deserve better. This looks like a great place to have a few drinkswith you friends. A super selection of beers and alcohols (many price levels). We definitely will be back if we are in the areawith friends.

I had a great experience at this local pub! Although it's located outside the busy downtown area, it possesses a unique character of its own. The quirky decor, including creative signage and a charming vibe, adds to the atmosphere. They offer an impressive selection of 24 beers on tap, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic, with a solid mix of classic pub favorites and some appealing alternatives. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chips, but the ahi tuna sandwich was truly outstanding. The shrimp tacos also looked delicious. It does get a bit crowded on weekends, which I see as a good sign! My service was excellent, thanks to Dallas! The parking lot is somewhat tight, but there's enough room to park. There is a small outdoor dining area, but with temperatures hitting 97 degrees, I opted to stay inside. Overall, this pub is definitely worth a visit!

The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and excellent service, complemented by food that is decent yet offers a unique twist. While the dishes could have been improved, they certainly stand out from typical bar fare. It's clear that the menu items are thoughtfully crafted and distinct, although the execution doesn’t quite reach its full potential. However, the service was prompt and our server was friendly and accommodating. The ambiance strikes a balance between a classic bar feel and a family-friendly environment. Additionally, the wall of amusing bad tips provides a humorous distraction while waiting for your meal.
