Zoe - Athens

I have dined at Zoe's three times, and each experience has been fantastic! The food is simply delicious, and the wait staff are knowledgeable and attentive to customers' needs.

We have been waiting for over an hour and fifteen minutes since placing our order. The restaurant is at half capacity, and we've witnessed other diners being served and leaving. While our server is friendly, she's also busy making drinks. When our food finally arrived, it was disappointing: the burger was overcooked, the hanger steak was medium-well instead of the medium-rare we ordered, and the mahi mahi was a smaller, thinner portion that didn't resemble a filet (I'm not even sure it was mahi mahi) served over overly oily risotto. The chopped salad had been blended and was not accompanied by buttermilk dressing. The crab cakes were dry and sad, and the jambalaya was also lacking in flavor. Overall, they missed the mark on nearly every aspect of our meal.

I had a delightful dining experience at Zoe. The ambiance was lovely, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. I tried the shrimp carbonara, which I would rate an 8.5/10, along with a pomegranate martini and a lemon drop, both of which I gave a 9/10. They make their own focaccia, and it was absolutely fantastic! I’ve heard the crab cakes are really good, so I’ll definitely be returning. It's an excellent choice for dinner, whether you’re a local or visiting Athens.

Always had issues with either waiting too long after being seated, food not served as requested per dietary needs, or quality. Stopped going for good.

Very long wait for food, granted the server was both bartender and server to other tables. The food took over an hour and was not that great to begin with. Messed up one of the orders. Came here for a graduation dinner and honestly one of the bars would have had better food at a cheaper price.
