The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and willing to have a conversation. However, please note that the only food option available is pizza, so don't set your expectations too high.
I have visited many pubs, but this one stands out as one of the best. I first went there before heading down to Cork, but I was so impressed by the friendly and welcoming staff that I ended up coming back. It's surprising that more tourists don't know about this gem, but I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Located near Inch and Dingle, it's a great central spot for tourists looking to explore Kerry.
During our vacation, we stumbled upon Jack Duggan's Bar on our way to our B&B. Even though we only stopped in for a pint and didn't have dinner, we were impressed by the friendly manager and patrons, as well as the delicious Guinness. This cozy Irish Pub ended up being our go-to spot for the next three days of our trip. We regretted not being able to stop by on our way back to the airport due to time constraints, but we definitely plan on visiting again during our next trip.
Called on the way to dingle, a little after 2pm. Closed. Called on the way back as I wanted to see how it was fairing since being taken over. 2 others in the bar, very little ambience. Had a pint of guinness, couldn't drink it as it was sour. Decided Enough was enough and left. My presence in the bar was hardly acknowledged and my leaving definitely wasn't. Won't be back.
