Service was a bit slow. Other than that, all was grand

Definately recommemd! This cozy restaurant left the most pleasant impressions! Hospitable staff,delicious burgers and tasty deserts. I would come back here again and again. Karyna was nice and friendly.

I had a great experience at McDonald's in Kilmartin Retail Park, Athlone! The pricing was reasonable, and it's conveniently located, making it perfect for long-distance travelers to refuel both their cars and themselves. It's an awesome spot to eliminate that hunger during a road trip. A tasty and affordable pit stop for sure!

Micky Ds in Athlone at Kilmartin Roundabout is your standardised, know what to expect maccas. Since moving from Australia to Eire we've made Supermacs our go to fast food joint but now and again we'll come to maccas if we're after a Shake, Big Mac or hot cakes. Like Maccas across the planet it's pretty much self-serve now with little staff interaction and customer service. I reckon maccas will become automated in the next 7 years with food being prepared by robots/machines and likewise your order or meal being brought out to you.

Of all the Mc Donald's I have been in this in my opinion is the best. The food is beautiful and if you want anything special like no gherkins or extra onions it is no problem. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. This is where I rate the highest quality of any food places I frequent, the TOILETS and I have to say they have always been here. While we were having our food the place was packed out to the door and we still had our food served within a couple of minutes. We'll done and keep up the excellent service.
