The restaurant is well accessible and comfortable. The food is excellent. The so called “migas” were brilliant and the grapes added a nice touch. The lamb was well cooked, very tasty. The steak was perfect. We were served a very good red wine from the area. The service was kind, knowledgeable, professional. Price was attractive.
This is probably far the most unpleasant and most disagreeable restaurant we ever went. We chose it in the first place because of its location: on top of a hill, near the city wall and a wide view into the countryside; not very worthwhile though because of all the industry, crossroads and other gasstations. SERVICE we were attended by a young woman; one of the most disagreeable, unfriendly rude persons we ever had to deal with. I asked for the menu of the day. She claimed there was no such menu, although I noticed it in the hallway where it was on display. Later I found out that the menu del dia is not served to 'foreigners '. (I would like to point out to those people that they make a living thanks to those 'foreigners ' who take the trouble to come and visit their beautiful city. Their attitude shows e very short term vision. I, for instance, will never, NEVER come back to this restaurant. FOOD and DRINK because we wanted to eat some vegetables we ordered the calabacines releños, stuffed courgettes; the courgettes were badly cooked and not done and the stuffing was very poor. We also had sirloin of duck without any side dish and a stew partridge, both of acceptable quality. We asked for a bottle of tap water. Impossible, they hadn 't any. A small bottle of spring water then??? Impossible, they only serve large 1 Liter bottles, though my husband doesn 't drink water with his lunch. I asked for a small bottle of wine. Again: impossible . Only large bottles available. They charged 2 € for the bread although we are not French, nor Spanish and don 't eat bread with our lunch. She did not even ask if we wanted bread!! Is is crystal clear that they want to make as much money as possible from the tourists. A most despicable attitude!!!!! During our whole meal she was very busy emptying all kind of crates and filling up the fridge and the racks accompanied by a lot of unbearable noise. We were the only customers at that point, so it didn 't matter I guess....
Alrhough is difficult to understand the menu if you don't understand spanish, any random dish you choose is good and very nice people are there to help and make sure you have everything you need
