Stunned on this place to find a typical waiting on Sunday brunch, but ordered a round of French 75s as we sat in the Plaza. The hostess made room for us to wait inwards as soon as the sky opened in a strong summer storm, and even offered a round of drinks for the extra waiting, but we are fed up and seen within a few minutes. Our waiter Adam took care of us and praised our orders. Certainly take the chance to try something out of the ordinary - the tinted fish and anchovy plate were so tender and salty unlike what I thought it was. The burrata was sweet and milky- some of the freshest I ever had and REQUIRES a side of Bayonne ham. The Fregala was one of the biggest surprises – it tasted almost like pasta, cooked in Beouf bourginouine juices, but with a fine heat and figs with broiled Brie Toasts and granular mustard vinagrette. We had to sit after the meal and appreciate the surprise of such a rich culinary experience, unlike what I had before, and since it was Sunday, they sent us with leftover cookies and a delicious piece of black and white cake. Food, service, airy setup and tasteful ambience - do not miss this place.
The atmosphere was great. It really felt like I was transported back to France (but with better service). You are kindly greeted by everyone while you enter, you are constantly checked, and the empty plates picked up as you eat instead of waiting until the end of your meal. The pastries were to die, I will dream of coming from this pistachios Croissant for weeks. Had a delicious **** Mary. Nothing better than a good drink, some high-quality food, in a beautifully decorated restaurant. Very recommended.
If you are looking for a Brunchplatz to relax on a Sunday morning? That's it. It is a beautiful shady place, with a beautiful atmosphere. The eggs and burgers were fantastic. Very recommended.
What a fantastic little spot! I went with my cousin and we were absolutely blown away by the freshness of the menu and the meals were incredible. You can't beat that at the price. I loved meeting the manners to satisfy the food, he was so humble and very friendly. Definitely give this place a chance if you have not been!
Everything about brunch at Bread Butter(fly) was perfection. If you’re looking for a chic cafe bistro in Atlanta that’s serving seasonal, French-inspired fare made with local ingredients, this is the spot. They have indoor outdoor seating, with not one but two different whimsical patio areas. The peach jam made in house from local peaches it was the best jam I have had in my life. It was the perfect complement to their already delicious bread; we loved it so much that we got a second order! The iced latte with almond milk was also top notch; it was well made by the friendly baristas inside at the shiny espresso machine behind the bar. The omelette is served over a sun-dried or roasted tomato spread and it comes with a side of greens. It typically comes with cow feta cheese, that I’m sure enhances the flavor. My dad loved the gigantic secret-recipe pancake with real maple syrup and my sister enjoyed her avocado toast. All of the staff was friendly and chatty; I’ll definitely be returning here for brunch the next time I’m in ATL!
