Nice meal in a growing part of town. Seafood (scallops and tuna) were fresh and well prepared. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.
My brother and I wanted to celebrate our birthdays in the neighborhood. We thought The Shed would offer a most memorable dining experience. The server was awesome. However, the food left much to be desired. The food seemed as if it was something we could get at a Waffle House. To say the least we were really disappointed. Such a waste of money and time.
The food was quite bad, especially for the price. The $20 burger was reminiscent of something I could make at home. The prosciutto was like one of those pre-sliced packets you can get from Kroger. The cheese plate came with soft bread that was toasted with butter. Here's why that's bad: The bread wasn't firm enough to be served with something like cheese, and the butter overwhelms the taste of the cheese. We dined on Valentine's Day and it was fairly empty (now we know why). They also had the lights turned all the way, which was an odd choice.
This was our first time at this establishment but definitely not the last! We had a 9:30 reservation, but due to ppl sitting longer than expected on available tables. That's was completely understandable nothing you guys could do about that. Offered complimentary wine and apologies for the wait. My wife and myself decided to sit at the bar and wait because super crowded in front. Because of the service received at bar we just had our dinner there instead of waiting on a table. The best decision we ever could of made. The bartender was amazing best service. The chef was extremely pleasant to talked to and amazing food. It definitely made our 11 year anniversary the best
