Duck was amazing!!! Nice change to getting sushi. But it’s a hard commitment in arch a great sushi restaurant.

Food and service superb However too noisy and very cold

We had a terrific experience at Umi. It was our first time dining there. The stylish decor immediately caught our eye. Our server, Michelle, was amazing and very attentive as were there the other staff members, Perla (sp and Yur (sp that serviced our table. The cocktails and food were amazing! I had the Kami-No-kazi, which is Umi’s twist on a Manhattan. The miso soup was the best we have ever had and all of the rolls were visually appealing and tasted great. We finished off our meal with the Donut Touch My Donut, which was a surprise of a dessert. Our only negative, and it is a small one, is the dessert portion was a bit small for the price. We are used to sharing a dessert and the Donut Touch My Donut is too small to really be shared.

Amazing food, exceptional service, music was just a little loud

This is our third time ordering the Omakase and this most recent trip was quite underwhelming. It used to be this great experience where you felt like the party was never going to end. Now, it feels like its a practical, economical experience.
