The location of this hotel is fantastic. The front desk was great in recommending places to eat nearby. The condition is pretty good considering the cleaning required with people coming and going from the beach daily. I would definitely stay here again. I was very confused with the policy for daily food and beverage credit as a Diamond member. When traveling multiple nights for work the credit is just one big total used to offset charges over the entire stay. We stayed three nights and the daily' credit only applied to each day separately. Since this is different than all other Hilton's I have stayed at, I would have appreciated a clear explanation at checkin.
This is an older hotel, which you will notice in the room decor and aging of walls and furniture. We were told we would have partial ocean view. It was not a lie, but unfortunately it was extremely partial. Most our view was of the courtyard and rooftop … just a sliver of ocean. It was very disappointing. I just wish they would be more detailed and honest about ocean views. Also very disappointed with the balcony. It was a just a barely a scalene triangle shape with zero chairs (because there’s no room to put any). I think it’s only fair for them to disclose this, because most people want to be able to sit and enjoy the morning or evening on the balcony. I have to say, this was the biggest disappointment of the whole trip. There is a gym with a couple cardio machines and some dumbbells and mirror. I saw an outdoor and indoor pool, both ok, nothing special. Nice and quick access to the beach. They have a person renting beach chairs, but you wouldn’t know because he’s dressed in civilian clothing and laying back on one the chairs himself videotaping women with his phone.
You can’t beat the location!!! Unfortunately this hotel needs a lot of help. It’s very rundown and dirty. Bathrooms have mold/dirty caulking and the door was all water damaged. The beds had hair all over them upon checkin. We were staying for one night and probably would find another hotel for the price. It was almost $300 for a Thursday night stay. I get it’s summer and at the beach but it wasn’t worth it. Oh and the FIRE ALARM went off at 3 am. So we are left to wake up, grab our stuff and head down to be told it’s a false alarm. Needless to say we didn’t get much sleep after that. No apology or even a discount. Due to that I wouldn’t recommend. Great location, poor service and needs to be majorly cleaned and updated
Great location, friendly staff, and very dog friendly.First issue occurred when we never got confirmation of our booking. Called back and they had the email wrong, which wouldn’t be an issue except we never got a receipt after our stay due. We called and they still had the wrong email address which is why we didn’t get the receipt and were told nobody at the hotel could send us a receipt and we’d have to try to call back the next day. Super frustrating when waiting for a bill of several hundred dollars.*edit, we checked out Saturday morning, it’s now Tuesday morning and have yet to get a receipt. Have called 3 times to “correct the email address.”Upon arrival, the front desk offered to put us as “priority” to get our room cleaned/ready for check in early, but it wasn’t ready until 4:00. We were grateful it was ready at 4:00 as there were several guests in the lobby at the same time but without a room ready for them.Coffee wasn’t ready until 7:30 one morning. At first we thought the room was just overly dusty, which wasn’t super concerning. We get it, high turn over of rooms and short staffed. Pictured is what I noticed when wiping off my dogs paws. Appeared to be feces smeared on the toilet, not okay.
