Seafood Kitchen - Atlantic Beach

If you are looking for great southern seafood cooked the way it used to be – as it should be- then this is THE place to go. And, it is awesome every single time.

We went there last night 9-25-2010 , around 6-6:15pm , we had ordered a gator tail appitizer and when it arrived we started eating it , then we noticed IT WAS NOT FULLY COOKED. We then notified them and they quickly took it off our bill and apologized , so we stayed for the rest of our meal. about 6 hours later my wife was VIOLENTLY ILL , ive never seen her puke like that before. We dont not drink or anything ! When i called them this morning to tell them what happened and i asked for a refund I WAS DENIED. Told i can have a 40 dollar gift cert for another time , WHY WOULD I EAT THERE AGAIN ? I will be contacting my financial institution tomorrow to make sure i receive my money in full and i dare them to challenge it as i have saved the food AND THE VOMIT WITH THE RAW GATOR TAIL

There seems to be ALOT of employee turnover here. I frequent Seafood kitchen often because my Mom loves to eat here (sometimes multiple times a week! I've seen numerous wait staff come go over the past several years. Could possibly be the median age of the staff vs the avg age of the customer group. Young vs olderRestaurant is ALWAYS busy. Food is good and never enough room to finish it all! One complaint about the food the raw oysters have been ridiculously small the passed few times we've ordered them. Personally, I feel like the ambiance is lacking. I feel like the restaurant is so small and they try to cram as many people in as they can at the same time. It seems like you're sitting on top of each other! Bathrooms ALWAYS seem unkempt.

Food was EXCELLENT! So happy our hotel clerk recommended this local restaurant with fresh seafood and homemade sauces. It was above and beyond what you expect! We will definitely be back. Liz was the best server!!

Local Flavor. Really good seafood reasonable prices and generous portions. Good sangria. We would return.
