But in this case, with the group I was with (8 guys , Hooters was their choice of destination. I usually rate a place by their food, but this gets three stars for the service. My meal was a salad with boneless chicken wings on top. They were good, came hot, and the salad was a nice reprieve from otherwise heavy and crappy food in AC. But, our waitress, Lyllian (sp? was the star of our meal. She was kind, courteous, intelligent, and obviously hard working (not to mention beautiful . She probably deals with the pits of Atlantic City on a regular basis at a Hooters, and some of our table was no different. Yet she still engaged and did a great job. A far cry from my experience at LandShark, which was the worst service I have experienced in some time. Anyway, the food was fine, maybe I should have gotten wings, but the service gets two thumbs up. Give that girl a raise.
Weird location didn't have bathrooms in restaurant. Refused to give me an employee discount and didn't have grilled cheese at this location.

I went to this Hooters location on a Wednesday night in July. We were promptly seated. Our waitress wasn't too attentive which was the ding in stars. Restaurant was probably around 75% full. My friend and I both ordered wings and fries. I had the Daytona wings which were a very good size and full of flavor. 16.00 for 10 wings those is a little pricey. Moreover I could see our orders sitting for almost five minutes waiting to be picked up. Restaurant is clean, waitress was friendly. I highly doubt anyone would have a negative visit here. Cost and expediency were the cause for dinging of stars.
Lorie treated me and my husband with so much disrespect I don 't think I could ever come to this location again. She directed us to where we were sitting and said, sit here and walked away. She was so preoccupied with sitting up front and bothering the other servers that she completely forgot about our table. She obviously has been there a long time and it seems like she owns the place. Managers should not be treating their customers with little respect and its vile. If you come to this location and Lorie is seating you just leave.
