The food at this restaurant is excellent, even beyond excellent. However, the service is absolutely terrible. My family and I waited for 2 hours to be served, and no one bothered to inform us that they were short-staffed or experiencing delays in the kitchen. No one came to check on us or offer us drinks or snacks during the wait. Some of our orders were even incorrect. The most shocking part was the rudeness and disrespect shown towards us as customers. There was no apology for the delay, and when I was leaving with my infant in a stroller, neither the owner nor the server held the door for me, instead coming in front of me and almost slamming it in my face. The level of rudeness and disrespect at this place is unbelievable. I have never experienced anything like it before.

The food here is fantastic, but there was a woman nearby who was upset about the color of the salsa - who really cares about that? Don't pay attention to those who nitpick over trivial details.

The baleados and empanadas at this restaurant are incredible. I also tried the green plantains and fried chicken, which were delicious but definitely meant for sharing. The fried chicken was especially tasty. The service was quick and efficient, and the atmosphere was cozy and casual.

I gave this place a 3 and not a 5 because although the food was good, the service was not. I understand that they are understaffed, but there is no reason why people should wait for almost 2 hours for their food. The owner has a small note at the tables explaining that it will take 35 to 40 mins for the food to arrive, but I ordered a simple breakfast that should have come out quickly.While we sat there, the owner kept taking phone orders and then left to deliver the food. Im not a business owner but I would think that since they are already understaffed, why not make sure that the people who are there get served first. People should come and pick up their food, esp bc they are already understaffed. I read other reviews and service seems to be the #1 issue with this place, but it appears that the owner isnt doing much about it bc some reviews are from a year ago. This is an issue that can def be resolved to make this place better. Good luck!
