Subway - Atlantic City

The food is tasty, but the wait time is quite long. If you have plenty of time to spare, this place is worth a visit. However, if you're pressed for time, I'd recommend looking for another option.

I want to share my experience at this Subway, which is connected to a Dunkin Donuts, rather than being a standalone establishment or in a more established venue. Unfortunately, there was only one employee working during my visit, which resulted in a long wait for my order. The staff member was polite, but brief in interaction and seemed indifferent to the fact that I was on my lunch break. I was not even acknowledged with a simple "I will be with you shortly," which reflected poor customer service. As for the food, the Subway sandwiches were decent, but they would have tasted much better with improved service. The seating area was cluttered, with chairs stacked in a corner and tables obstructing the traditional prep area, making it difficult to see the available options. Overall, while Subway is a well-known brand, this particular location on Atlantic Ave leaves much to be desired. They could definitely benefit from a refreshed atmosphere and better staffing. I typically don’t write long reviews, but felt this experience needed to be addressed. I hope they make some changes!

I requested a bit more lettuce since there’s no limit on salad, but he seemed annoyed. I have a meat allergy, so I asked him to clean the knife he was using to cut my sandwich, and he completely ignored my request. He used that same dirty knife, added way too much sauce that I didn't want, and made a mistake with the sauce, which made the sandwich inedible. I ended up having to throw it away, despite having paid for it. To make matters worse, he was incredibly rude and seemed uninterested in interacting with customers. I've never encountered such poor customer service at any Subway or restaurant before. The overall cleanliness of the place was appalling; it was so dirty that I didn’t even want to sit down to eat. I would not recommend anyone to visit this establishment.
