So even places that are more just mid priced American food spots get so over booked that I couldnt even get a table here for dinner on a tuesday night. However since I was staying at Bally's it was perfect for breakfast the following morning. The staff from the hostess to my waiter were all very nice and attentive. I ordered the American Breakfast which is 2 eggs (i went scrambled), a choice of a side (Bacon), potatoes and a choice of a bread (I went English Muffin) and also added another side of sausage. I guess I was making up for the disappointment the previous evening. Everything was solid. They put the pot of coffee on the table so that was great. Bacon was perfectly crisp. Nice atmosphere.
Stay regular Bally’s first time trying a 6th floor restaurant. I found Water Dog to be a great option, prices were lower than expected compared to other places on the floor, but, the decor and food were great. Happy hour drink and food selection and prices good, $2 draught beers in a casino restaurant? Score! Waiter was great as were shrimp tacos. Turkey sandwich on pumpernickel with coke slaw and Russian dressing with fries great. Definitely will return.
I came here with my family which includes two children. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is they did not really have any food for kids, I know with the casino it's not necessarily a place for children but more times than none families are coming especially to the boardwalk hotels. Thankfully they had chicken fingers and a pretzel that was suitable for very young kids. Other than that the food was great the chicken fingers tasted phenomenal the lobster roll was great however I would've liked to have an additional side of warm butter for it. The drinks are also very good. Without a doubt I would come here again. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and our food came out pretty fast and was fresh and hot.
I'll make this short ,, even tho this restaurant needs to hear its criticism. It seems half the restaurant employees are ALL-IN to make it an enjoyable experience while the other half in my opinion are there to fake it to make it!! The gentleman at the front door Brian was so polite , my wife and i could tell he was balancing customers and trying to turn over tables in between reservations and handled everything thrown his way.. Bryan braught our kids crayins and coloring pads which kept the kids busy while food was being prepared! Our server i think his name was Lezly or Leslie but he was on top of everything and brought our food and appetizers out in a timely manner. It just seemed like the food turnover people were slow to bring out the main courses and the table cleaners were a bit behind. All in all my wife and i were pleased and absolutely enjoyed the food.. . X's 5......
The guy who took my order was very nice and respectful. I ordered takeout on the weekend. It took about 50 minutes or more to get my order. The beef Brisket and pastrami were delicious but they were missing some flavor. The onion ring was pretty good. The Lobster Roll was alright. The avocado toast with Smoked Salmon was pretty good. The raw salmon from the poke bowl was disgusting. It had a funny taste. I don't know if it's the dressing or the salmon wasn't fresh. I do not recommend ordering raw salmon for the topping. The grilled salmon was overcooked, however, it wasn't as bad as the raw one. The poke bowl overall was disappointing. The avocado in it came with a hair! Very disgusting. Stay away from poke bowls.
