Food not good(should have sent it back We ordered steak and rice and beans only thing good was grilled tomatoes on the rice It cost us $60.00 Will NEVER eat there again !!! To do over again would gave walked out BTW no service! Didn't get any one to check on us during the time we were there
Food and service was good.I am wondering why they double tax the food . They tax the food by item and then at the end of the receipt they charge another 8%. Yes ,8% because a sign on the door says 1% for city of Attica.
First, the food was simply not good. The refried beans were watery and lacked flavor, while the rice was dry and seemed old. Our party of four each ordered different meals, and none of us finished more than half because we found it so unappetizing. The steak fajitas were mostly vegetables, with very little meat. I ordered a steak chimichanga, but the meat was overcooked and chewy—so tough that I was concerned it might make me sick. My husband ordered a shrimp dish and said the shrimp was rubbery. Next, the restaurant's sound system was malfunctioning, playing cartoon music through crackling speakers. No joke, we listened to songs from "Dora the Explorer" blaring throughout the place. It was quite the distraction, especially while eating terrible food. Additionally, my husband ordered a margarita, but it was overly sweet and, I suspect, had little to no tequila in it. Given the price, it was quite disappointing. However, we usually don’t like overly sweet drinks, so we chalked it up to personal taste and he opted for a beer instead. The beer came in a frozen mug, which seemed great at first, but the ice on the mug was an inch thick—like freezer-burned ice. He didn’t mind at first, so we placed some paper towels underneath to catch the melting water and he continued to drink. Halfway through, someone at our table noticed something strange in my husband’s drink, and we all started inspecting it. Inside the glass, there were mushy bits stuck to the walls in several places. My husband managed to fish some of it out and called the waiter over to show him. When we pointed out the disgusting bits in the glass, the waiter asked, “Why is that disgusting?” Wait, what? After a lengthy back and forth explaining why finding something like that in a drink is unacceptable, we simply asked for the bill, at which point they still charged us for the beer. We had to request its removal. I can honestly say this was the absolute worst dining experience we’ve ever had at any restaurant.
I had trouble locating the restaurant. I called for directions, but the person who answered kept asking, "What do you mean?" without offering any help.
I ordered a chicken fajita, and it was by far the worst I've ever had. The chicken was completely bland, lacking any seasoning, and just tasted like plain chicken. The vegetables were undercooked as well. I also got a side of sour cream, but it was so watered down that it resembled milk. Additionally, there was a strange sign on the front door stating a 7% state tax and a 1% city tax, which I've never encountered before.
