Visiting with friends and camping in their yard. We decided we wanted some pizza. I had driven by a few times so thought we'd try it. I know NY is supposed to be about foldable pizza, but I had one of the best deep dish pizzas ever from here. My friend had a calzone and was really happy with it. The marinara (regular) was very tasty, not overly sweet or garlicky. The folks inside, I presume the owners, were very nice. Food was great.
I have only written two other reviews in my lifetime, but I had to this time. My husband and I stopped here for lunch, but the name is Ferrandough's Pizzeria. The owners of Ferrandough's were very welcoming. It was a nice friendly place. Great customer service. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious. We ordered calzones and wings. Really good and the price was very reasonable. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Meisners has been closed and sold for well over a year. This place is now under new ownership, the second new owner actually, and called Fernandoughs. They are trying to ride the coat tails of the previous long time well liked Meisners using their phone number and in tripadvisor by not updating the facts of ownership. Got a cheeseburger sub today and ordered it dry with mayo on side. Came slathered in mayo and with the mayo side as well. Partially wrapped in foil. WHY?????? it was a complete mess took two bites and threw it out. Goodbye Ferrnandoughs.
I loved it when the shop was Meisners, I still love it as Ferrandough's Pizzeria! Amazing Fish Fry, and HUGE portions for salads. Definitely a great place to stop and eat!
