It is not possible to have lunch on the terrace when there are a few tables. We choose the most expensive menu on the table, but it is when we see other dishes that we realize that there is a 2nd menu..the sauces, which are liquid like broth. one with champagne which tastes like vegetable julienne, the other with purple mustard which tastes only like meat juice, seriously deglazed. They put the bottle of red on us without giving us a taste. We are not offered coffee. There is only the dessert that they advertise at the start of the meal. Very disappointed compared to what existed before...more expensive brasserie meal

On the road between Alsace and Portugal, our visit to Aubazine was basically purely logistical. We stayed one night at the hotel, and had dinner there. The setting is charming and authentic. The kitchen was excellent. We took two Saint Etienne menus, with foie gras and scallops as a starter, pepper beef and duck à l'orange as a main course, and walnut souffle for dessert. It was just excellent. We will keep a very good memory of this express passage, strongly recommending the establishment. Kid-friendliness: High chair provided for our child
