The past two days I have went. On the first day I ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches. I received one, the other was full of mayonnaise. The second day I was asked twice if I ordered two spicy sandwiches with no pickles. The girl then proceeds to give me one sandwich and the other was NOT a spicy and also BURNT AND OBVIOUSLY OLD. The bread was STALE. This Popeyes is not recommended and horrible.
I had a chicken sandwich, coleslaw, biscuit, tenders and mashed potatoes delivered. The sandwich was supposed to have Mayo and pickles. It came dry, the coleslaw was warm and tasted sour like it was bad and I was supposed to get two packs of sauce one of which I paid for because it was extra. I tried to call them but all I got was a recording that said bye and hung up. Oh yeah, a sandwich bun usually has a bottom and top but I had two bottom pieces. Extremely poor customer service and I got spoiled food. They are lucky they didn?t answer the phone. If I was able to drive I would have gone there and had some serious words with the manager.
I really wanted to like this Popeyes. I had never been to any Popeyes so I finally wanted to try my local one. This is my third time coming here now and the first two times I went the signs were not even on. When I asked the girl why that was, she said they did not know how to turn it on. So I had to order my very first meal at Popeyes without a menu. Now fast forwarding to my third time, not a lot has improved. The signs are now on but the chicken sandwich bread was stale, the sweet tea was so sweet I did not finish it, and the staff seemed in a bad mood. Overall, very unimpressed with the conduct and quality of the restaurant as a whole. If you love Popeyes then maybe try one in Denton or Frisco.
My visit started on a rough note when a customer who arrived after me complained about her order and said she had to return it after driving all the way home. She looked at me and asked if I had checked the reviews before coming, which clearly she hadn’t, and I genuinely felt bad for her. When I placed my order, there were only a few pieces of chicken ready to serve. I noticed the cook in the back boiling a new batch, and when I asked how long it would take, it was as if he didn't hear me and shouted, "25 minutes." When I replied that I could wait, he then told his coworker that it would only take a few more minutes to finish. I've supported this place since I first moved to the area and have seen the management change numerous times, but to be honest, I think it's time to throw in the towel. Fortunately, there are many more restaurant options in the area now.
