Starwood Cafe - Aubrey

The mushroom Swiss burger is amazing! The atmosphere could use some improvement, but if you're looking for a delicious burger in the area, this one definitely satisfies.

The food was satisfactory, but it was clear that our server was the owner, and she showed little interest in providing good service. She leaned against the booth behind us, chatting with her family for the entirety of our meal. The only time she acknowledged us was after we had been sitting for about ten minutes, when she asked if we were ready to order with an annoyed tone. It was evident she was irritated to have us in her section. No one checked in on us or offered a greeting or a thank you. The rest of the staff appeared to be her children and grandchildren. While she engaged in conversation, her middle school-aged grandkids were tasked with clearing tables and serving drinks. Other servers and her kids seemed more concerned about ensuring she tended to her tables.

I placed an online order for pickup today, but my entire entrée was missing. I can't get a refund, and they aren't answering the phone.

The food was tasty and the quality was good, but it was slightly expensive, for ambiance and atmosphere the price was not worth. The tables were slightly sticky.

Biscuits and gravy were not good at all. Biscuits were good gravy could have came out of a can better.
