Costa Vida - Auburn

I visited this restaurant in Auburn last night and was surprised to find it temporarily closed. There was a FedEx sticker on the window indicating a missed delivery from November 26th, which had been there for over a month. Another sign mentioned closure due to an ice storm. Perhaps this was the reason for their absence around Thanksgiving? It seems like they may need to update their signage. Unfortunately, I discovered on their Facebook page this morning that the restaurant is now permanently closed. What a disappointment.

It's disappointing to see that the restaurant in Auburn has closed. It was always a bit pricey, but the food was decent and we never had any issues dining there.

If I could, I would give this restaurant zero stars. I typically love Costa Vida, but after my experience at the Auburn location, I will not be returning. The service and the food were both terrible. When I went to pick up my online order, I was disappointed to find out that there was an additional fee for one side of hot sauce. This seemed very strange to me, and the worker who informed me was quite insistent. To make matters worse, when I returned home, I realized that I had been given the wrong burrito. With no time to go back on my lunch break, I decided to eat it anyway. The sweet pork was incredibly dry, which was a major disappointment. When I called the restaurant to inform them of the mix-up, the person on the other end of the line was very rude. The so-called manager I spoke to was no help at all. Overall, my experience at this Costa Vida location was a complete letdown.

Bomb food. Kids meals are huge. And they got that rice milk stuff. Nummmm and yummy starwberry lemonade.
