Midori Teriyaki Wok - Auburn

Best teriyaki spot in town! The owner and his team are awesome and I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t like!

We were looking forward to trying out Midori but we were quite disappointed. The chicken in our dinners was dry and flavorless. It’s definitely not marinated in anything prior to cooking. We strongly felt that the chicken is pre-cooked and then reheated with “sauce”. Our beef and pork were also dry and flavorless. We found ourselves trying to “doctor up” everything with the soy sauce, sriracha and teriyaki sauce on the table. None of us finished our order. We’ve found better food and value elsewhere.

First time diner. The teriyaki chicken was dry and the check out lady, I'm assuming the owner has a very nasty attitude. I will NOT return.

I 've been to this place more times than I can remember. They serve great food, and only rarely do I get food that isn 't perfect. I think that sometimes the chef cooks the chicken a little too long as only one time I 've had dry Katsu. If you want teriyaki in Auburn, I recommend this place as your 'go to ' location.

4/6/24- This was my first visit here. Looking for new place in Auburn. We got in, ordered and received our food pretty quickly. We were there a little early for dinner, but there were take-out orders and a few ppl sitting in. The guy at the counter wasn’t super friendly, but he wasn’t rude. The food was tasty, the portions were average. I’ll be back. I tried the chicken teriyaki, honey chicken and the kung pow chicken. All were good. Only bottled soda, the fountain soda machine was broken. Fresh ice water available for you to get and refill as needed.
