Pizza Express - Auburn

It is a tradition that began 5 years ago: every time my best friend and I are done to remove the foothills and make the trek back to Sac, we end the day at Pizza Express for their gourmet vegetarian. Nothing like a good hike along the river, followed by a gazillion-veg pizza, which a meat eater like I never miss the meat. Ask him well baked as the vegetarian is quite juicy and requires a more material bread plate. We always leave happy filled and left with leftovers!

I don't know how nice the staff is here. They are so super friendly, and they are fast and efficient to boot. The pizza is top-tier, and they have fun arcade games on the back.

Worked. Best tasting pizza in Auburn hands down. As a recurring customer, I will say that customer service was most of the time. The pizzas are always fresh when they are received, whether order delivery or takeout. I had a few mistakes as a wrong pizza delivered as well as asked to use a more expensive alternative (DoorDash) just for delivery due to lack of driver, but this has not yet pushed me away as a customer.

The pizza was fantastic! I usually order a vegetarian pizza and this was not disappointment, loaded with fresh vegetables.

Stop by often for lunch when working in Auburn. Decent prices and friendly staff. Good pizza
