Monkey Cat - Auburn

Her main course was good. her laundry was flatter. we had an excellent service from the bar and the staff.

Wonderful dinner with friends. the food and the service were both great! we will definitely come back.

Have gone after monkey cat for about 25 years and recently after missing visit while covid returned. all quite good eating except fat short ripening. very good service. what I really did not like was the 6%-7 add-on for the use of a credit card. it's a cost to make business today. also it costs less than 3% and they double it. that's terrible.

For the price it is simply not worth it. my man got the steak and the frit, and the steak had blown, you couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. I got the salmon that was decent, but it came with a very boring white rice that had zero taste and several lumps that had a kind of rookie error for a $40 plate. the martini was about 3/4 size of a standard goose and for $14 seemed somehow crazy. the crème brûlée was in order and service was in order, but with a $250 tab for 4 people to have moderate (best) eating, we will not go back.

Food was mediocre. Butter salad had little to no cheese or pecans. It was basically lettuce and dressing. Wedge salad was not that great didn’t like the dressing. Hamburger was ok. Bun was dry. Hamburger was thin and ok tasting. French fries were good. We won’t go back.
