Tokyo Sushi - Auburn Hills

Delicious food and friendly staff! While the interior of the restaurant could use some upgrades, we mostly get takeout and it’s definitely worth a visit.

The food was delicious and incredibly fresh. We ordered the avocado and cucumber roll, the avocado roll, the tempura vegetable roll, and the spring roll.

I ordered the Thai fried rice and a spicy tuna roll while dining in. The food was quite decent; although the spicy tuna roll wasn't the best I've had, it was still enjoyable. The prices were reasonable, and the staff were friendly. However, the interior didn't stand out, and on the day I visited, it was uncomfortably warm inside the restaurant.

Work has recently moved me to the Auburn Hills area. I have tried a few sushi places and so far Tokyo Sushi has stood amongst the group. Whether I'm wanting to go all in on 3-4 rolls of sushi for my meal or simply have some fried rice. I have had no disappointments here so far.

Tokyo Sushi isn't as fancy looking as some other places, but excels in fresh, outstanding sushi. You can't best the boat for a nice lunch. The nigiri is excellent. We prefer simpler sushi rolls like tuna and yellowtail with scallions, but we enjoy a number of the more complex rolls. One of my personal favorites is the Godzilla Roll.
