Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Auburn Hills

I came into the store around 7:06pm and was greeted by what looked like two teenage boys, one white with a Justin Bieber like haircut and the other black with an Afro and black string necklace. When I asked for a Cranberry Truffle he stated they couldn’t make that anymore. Fair, so I asked for the Pomegranate Plunge: substitute bananas for pineapples and add white chocolate, 2 kids Jetty Jr. and used a free reward for a Chia Boost. All of the smoothies were full of ice (slushy like). You couldn’t drink them the Chia Boost was missing flavors. When I called to retrieve receipt information and speak with a manager available for a solution. The young man stated he was the manager, Jamari T who could refund me or I could come back and they’ll remake it. I said I can come back Wednesday, I’m currently on the Rd, 50min from home so I’ll take the refund. He stated I needed to be in store to do so and could contact the customer service number or go on the website. I asked for the contact number he stated they were extremely busy at 7:25pm and that he couldn’t do that at this moment. When I volunteered and asked to wait until they weren’t busy. He stated he doesn’t have that number in store, nor did he know it… proceeds to laugh with the other guy in background and hung up the phone. Nowadays things are very tough, rough and overwhelming you spend your last $20 to make your kids and a partner happy after a 2hr drive. then are disrespected, disappointed and lied to.

Very chill food came up in quick time was delicious ?

Worst tropical smoothie in the county. they do not care about their employees and have the worst management ever. I don’t recommend eating there nor working there.

This used to be my favorite Tropical Smoothie in the area. Sadly, the quality has greatly decreased in the last year or so. Every order has items missing and every smoothie is running down the sides of the cup and tatse just like water. The salads are half full and when they remember your sauce they only give you one unlike every other cafe in a 20 mile radius which gives two. The Crooks rd, University, Sashabaw, and M59 locations all have better quality and better service.

Tasty food thats certainly healthier than other counter-serve options out there. Tons of smoothie choices, from the uber-healthy to dessert-style. Quick service too, which is unusual for TSCs! The only downside is that eating inside can be a bit uncomfortable as the smoothie blenders are constantly running and can be pretty loud.
