I love the garlic sauce they make themselves and the chicken is absolutely delicious again they make this themselves in house with theyre own spice marinade mix. The salads are always fresh and the owner and his wife are so polite. Id like to add they they microwave the kebabs with cheese to melt the cheese slightly before grilling as they use proper tasty cheese. Overall this place has been around for over 20 years and its still my go to place for a decent kebab. Price of kebabs is a little high but worth it if your after a great tasting kebab.
The best kebabs in Sydney! I have been here a couple of times and these are hands down the best kebabs I have ever had. The owner and his wife are so friendly, and they put everything into their food. The meat they use is so well spiced and flavoured. Yes, they rewarm everything in a microwave, but that's how you get good HOT food. I have had so many lukewarm kebabs at other places, that it's nice to get a hot fresh kebab. People are complaining on here that it's expensive, but it's worth it. It's actually reasonably priced, when you start adding on all those extra toppings, it can add up, but it's really reasonable and the kebabs are huge. I recommend this to everyone I can. The food is excellent, and the service is even better!
They take chicken that must have been shaved off the spit quite some time ago, put it on pita on a plate and microwave it. I could have just led by saying it 's the worst kebab I 've ever had, which is true, but I feel that the microwave detail is important to understanding the depths of Hey Hey 's depravity. Naturally the chicken was very chewy. It 's very expensive for a hot, grotty highway shop they 've joined the other Auburn kebab shops in starting prices at an excessive $12 but they 're really the most expensive (and the worst) kebab in Auburn because 1) there wasn 't much chicken and even less salad, so it was one of the thinnest kebabs I 've ever seen; 2) the lot is a crazy $3 extra; 3) you can 't even get garlic sauce in the standard kebab, you have to pay $2 extra. And don 't forget they microwave the kebab.
The best kebabs in the area! The owner and his wife are lovely people and you can tell they put their heart and soul into their cooking. After your kebab is cooked they toast it in a sandwich press which melts the cheese and makes the bread crispy. Always satisfies my kebab cravings every time!
It was a dark dark winter, my friends and I were starving and decided to google search kebab shops around my area. That is when one of my friends had mentioned of a small treasure trove that is known as the Hey Hey Kebabs. My first encounter the shopkeeper had introduced with such charm and grace that I was already infatuated with him, not the food. But ladies and gentlemen, when I was able to eventually gain opportunity to taste the food I was baffled, astonished, flabbergasted; their kebabs, made in such a meticulous and marvellous way that the bread compliments all the ingredients leave you salivating like a husky in a great summer with no water in his dog bowl. I ask that all who wish to find peace within themselves in the Kebab domain recognise this shop as one of pure class, taste and grandeur.
