I stopped in for a quick morning coffee after reading positive reviews. The restaurant is situated in a charming mid-1800s stone building. The coffee was indeed excellent as promised, and the service was incredibly friendly.
Best grilled cheese sandwich i have ever eaten at the adjoining Velvet and Willow Pantry. All set in beautiful garden surroundings.
Perfect place to stop and take a moment the gardens are so lovely and peaceful and the brownies were sooooo good.
Velvet and Willow is a delightful restaurant that opens early seven days a week, perfect for your morning coffee fix. Whether you're grabbing a quick takeaway or enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the garden, front patio, or inside the charming stone building, you'll be sure to come back for more. The menu is simple yet delicious, with fresh daily offerings that cater to everyone. The service is always warm and friendly, with staff and locals happily chatting with visitors and tourists. The restaurant is also very pet-friendly, providing water bowls for your furry friends. A special shoutout to Cass, Laura, Michelle, Zia, Grace, CJ (handsome!), and Tegan for always making my Velvet and Willow visits enjoyable.
