Ocean Basket Melville

Really easy to find as it is on the main street. The food here is really good and we'll prepared, the sushi is really tasty and fresh, which is amazing! I've been coming here for years and they never seem to disappoint! I love it

I am a big fan of ocean basket. I always have the platter for 1/2 I by myself or with company respectively. The really great thing I've discovered on their menu is Halloumi! Here is a list of the ones I've been to and the things that stood out there:<br/ <br/ Ocean Basket-Melville: made me the best Halloumi<br/ Ocean Basket-Boksburg (inside the East Rand Mall): the best restaurant layout for me <br/ Ocean basket- Oakdean (inside The Glen shopping mall): quite cramped and usually unbearably noisy.

Food was great, service is always friendly, the place feels like more than just sitting on a main road in Melville. The sole was cooked to perfection and they're quick with food orders in the kitchen, but not too quick, it is seafood after all. For a person who lives around the area it's my preferred ocean basket.

Nice location looking over the streets of melville. Nice patio and inside area. Never have had a problem with the sushi. Even platters of prawn calamari hake and squid are really well prepared and tasty. Service is a little slow but was there on a Sunday. Also trading hours are odd closing very early during the week.
