Contribuisci feedbackFor people who are looking for a place to explore and come to appreciate serious vegan and vegetarian dining, this is the place! And for vegans, well, this is the real deal. The menu takes you well away from traditional French cooking to fine dining as you've never experienced before. Simply amazing quality and imagination The food is exciting and the variety on the menu will give you a whole new perspective on how you eat. Veg'Yann could earn a Michelin star, it is that good.
Vegan restaurants are still hard to find in France so it was a wonderful surprise to come across Veg'Yann in Augun, a few kilometres from Ploermel. We visited for lunch and had the vegetal foie gras and parsnip soup for starters. For main courses we chose the aubergine polenta (with nettle sauce) and the seitan steak with chips. We finished with cafe gourmand and chocolate fondant. All were excellent. The meal ranks amongst the best we have had, not just in France but anywhere!
A lovely couple run this restaurant and all the food is cooked from scratch using local ingredients. I suggest you phone ahead for them to prepare as I'm sure you can imagine it's quite quiet running a vegan only restaurant in a small village in northern france! The food was delicious.
Restaurant Super Vegan in Brocéliande A must go to Brocéliande Superb discovered that this vegan restaurant in Augan, 15 minutes from Ploermel, in the heart of Brocéliande! Marjorie and Yann welcome you in their homes, in a dedicated room and in a very warm and friendly atmosphere. A wide choice of dishes, from entry to dessert. The kitchen is really delicious and clean, and the dishes are really beautiful and beautifully presented. It's a good time at Veg'yann. Of course, I recommend going to the corner at 1h from Saint-Brieuc, 45 minutes from Rennes and 45 minutes from Vannes. For me, I took the burger, which is really great with its fries houses), and ice cream in dessert ortie. The homemade vegetable foye is also worth a visit! In short, a great experience!
The place can be disconcerting first, but the welcome is hot, the dishes are tasteful and the very original recipes, the desserts are absolutely delicious (I took the ice in the ortie about me and it was a great discovery of taste), I recommend this place of vegan gastronomy, for connoisseurs, curious and others!
