Fondaco Jacobo im Damenhof - Augsburg

We were three people and the guy who is responsible for security in the door, he told us to wait a while, after 20 minutes and the bar was almost empty came another guy who is probably responsible for the tables and he... not talking directly to us, but he said to safety that they are complete and we cannot enter. To avoid misunderstandings, our dress code was ok, trousers and Polo T-shirts. That's really bad for this bar.

A fabulous place to visit in the summer, the food is amazing, but twice I visited when it is closed and eaten inside, a spectacular basement, but the food is simply not according to standards and the service inside is quite poor, but outside in... the farm, you can't go wrong

Very nice place for a visit, it is not the original historical building, but it was rebuilt after the 2nd world war in historical style. it is a shady atrium with a small water basin in the middle. so they also have a cool place in the hot midday in summer to enjoy their drink or lunch.

I am a fan of the building and the location but unfortunately not of the operation. the service and the kitchen is not good to be able to write a good recession. the food came late and not warm. tastefully poor.
