Koi hibachisushi - Augusta

There is no point in making a reservation at this restaurant. We had reserved a table for 8:30, but when we arrived, there were six other parties with the same reservation time. As a result, we ended up waiting for an hour.

Our reservation at Koi for 8:00 was cancelled without notice. When we arrived at 7:45, we were told to wait on a long list. Even those with 7:00 reservations had not been seated by the time we left at 8:20. Despite enjoying the food at Koi, I believe they should not be accepting reservations if they cannot honor them. This was a disappointing business decision in my opinion.

The soup was cold and the waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu. The smoked salmon was raw, and the steak was served raw instead of rare. The service was slow, and overall, the food was terrible. I will never go back to this restaurant.

Making a reservation is absolutely pointless. We had a reservation of 8:30 and on arrival in the restaurant, there were 6 more 8:30 reservations. This led to our waiting an hour

Reservations from 8:00 were canceled by Koi without notice. That included ours. We had no notice of cancellation and got there 7:45. We were put on a very long list to wait. There were people with 7:00 reservations that haven't been sitting yet when we went 8:20. If they are not able to honor reservations, they need to remove as available for reservations. While we love Kois Essen, I think this was not a good business move.
