Maryland Fried Chicken - Augusta

My husband placed our order at this restaurant, and I’m not sure if it was because it was near closing time, but the chicken we received was old and greasy. This used to be one of our favorite dining spots! We got one piece of fish with two sides for about $13, which felt somewhat pricey, especially considering it has been several years since our last visit. Adding in a three-piece chicken order brought the total to around $26, though I wasn't the one paying. It seems like Maryland's has really gone downhill. We won’t be returning. I tried to call to provide feedback, but only reached voicemail. You might want to give it a shot; perhaps we just caught them on a bad day.

I ordered online for curbside pickup and called when I arrived at 2:15. They told me they were working on it, but at 2:40, I still hadn’t received my chicken. I saw a lot of people coming and going, but the service was poor. I wouldn’t recommend curbside pickup here. I called again at 2:43, and they finally said my order was ready. Overall, my experience was not good. Service: 1/5.

I've been visiting this restaurant since I was a child. My great uncle was a friend of the owners, which brings us back over 40 years! I really enjoy the chicken and fish dinners here. My family exclusively orders our fried chicken from this place.

$18.00 no fries, had to go inside to get the food. Made my granny pay for the tea. I even left a tip. Chicken was super salty, macaroni was just noodles no flavor. I’m very disappointed and sure I will definitely not be going back there. It use to be a good place to eat growing up. But I can live without the possibility of having HBP from the salt in that chicken. It looked like two diet meals. I didn’t even eat the chicken I gave it to my gma. (Sorry about that too)..

This is the BEST fried chicken in Augusta GA! Let's talk about it! Everything they serve down to the sweet tea is EXCELLENT! After getting my food I always go to the picnic tables by the marina and eat. Never any complaints except when they run out of honey!Food: 5/5
