Cheap beef eats!!! Friendly bar people make the place great! Bar service is top notch!

The worst food I've had in a long time! The steak was as dry as cardboard, the veggies were basically raw and the rice was disgusting. The waitress did offer a different veggie that was equally bad...canned corn! Oh and the water was undrinkable! My daughter ordered a baked potato which was raw inside. The manager came over but did nothing about our complaints. The restrooms were filthy. Never going again!

If I could leave zero stars I would Our server was the worst server I've ever had, like literally. Terrible attitude, Does not care, Or think, No customer service skills what so ever. Hannah at the Augusta location, Sent our salads flying to us across the table didn't say anything at all when she dropped them off, just walked away. I had asked for no tomatoes or egg in my salad when she smashed them together coming towards us at 60mph egg flew off my plate on to the table... no big deal! But when it took her 30 minutes to come back and didn't even ask how they were. (Walked away) I had to shout to her. We then asked for a Diet Coke and more bread when she came back she needed to ask again what I had ordered for a drink and forgot the bread. Maybe use a book if you can't remember anything. Maybe it'd be okay if she had any social skills. The good news is I have enough time sitting at this table waiting for her to come back around with the bread for 45 mins I can write this book about how bad hannah needs to choose a different field of work. Brought us the check while we were all still eating full plates of food???! Maybe drift away from anything involving customer service! Food was very good anyhow, props to the cooks for giving the consumers a reason to come back. But they definitely need to send her to a desk job far far away from the front of the house! I wish I was kidding about this feral experience.

I have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the customer service at Texas Road house. The ability to pick your own steak before being seated is very tempting and in some cases my first choice before I decide on my beverage for the evening. I was very impressed with COVID measures taken by this establishment. There is a tent located outside where an employee will add you to the waiting list and advise you when you can enter the facility. When I got there, I had a party of four and we were seated immediately. They clearly identify all booths and tables that are not to be used and are to maintain social distancing. All employees wear masks and in some cases gloves. They obviously took this very seriously and show a deep concern for their customers based on their COVID measures. I had the bone-in ribeye with baked potato and corn. I asked for a medium cook on the steak and they nailed it. It was not over seasoned, as some have claimed occurred in the past, so that is likely great feedback to help improve the quality of their products. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals and the kids definitely took home some extra steak fries. I do have to say, those seasoned steak fries were yummy and I couldn't stop eating them after I felt full. The staff I interacted with was very friendly and all were using some form of PPE as required by COVID guidelines. I would come back again to this establishment and enjoy some more of their delectable steaks.

The steaks are out of this world, and the only place I've ever found a real Texas-tasting steak outside of Texas. (I visit in Texas only ones, but the meat is unforgettable. it's always cooked just the way I want it, and prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is rowdy and noisy, so I go off-peak. Another guest with me got something that wasn't right, and they bent over backwards to make good on that. I am not a fan of their sweetened dinner rolls, but everything else was lovely.
