Contribuisci feedbackI stopped by because of the reviews. Trust and believe it was well worth the stop. Randi is amazing. She is very attentive and has a very, very pleasant and friendly personality. I was greeted at the door even though they were super busy. They made it a point to acknowledge all the customers that came in. The chefs, whew!! They worked hard and were plating the orders fast. Everything I ordered was made fresh. I had the Brunch House Benedict. It was great. The owner ensured he made rounds to see if everyone was enjoying their visit. All I saw was smiles. It is a great place to visit and enjoy some good food. I was very impressed with how smooth the crew works and the atmosphere is amazing. Thank yal so much for a wonderful breakfast that made my heart happy. Oh, I had a plain order of French toast that cured my sweet tooth. Goodness, it was so good. I love good food and good vibes!!!
Was seated immediately, but I then sat for over 15 minutes watching every waitstaff walk past me, look at me and walk by me. No one asked if I wanted coffee, water or anything. I then saw a table of three two tables over get seated and ORDERED 10 minutes after I was seated!! I left, but before leaving, I went to the hostess and told her my issue. Thought she would at least get the manager or do something?? I told her I was going to Russ’ and she had the audacity to say “okay, have a good day!” Unbelievable of the workers these days. Just don’t care about your patrons.
I had the catfish and grits and it was so delicious. The chefs there are amazing. The service was great also. I'll definitely be back.
The Brunch House of Augusta never disappoints. I love the friendly family oriented atmosphere. The food presentation is always on point and hot. The restaurant is clean including the restrooms. When you walk in, you will immediately hear the sound of laughter and a great variety of music. Even though I am a regular, everyone gets treated equally. Just a heads up if you plan on visiting this restaurant, it would be very wise to make a reservation which can be done online. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
I'm always on the prowl for new diners and places for breakfast and brunch. And as anyone who follows my reviews knows, I'm a sucker for hole-in-the-wall places. The Brunch House has a simple exterior and decor that does not mince words for what it is. A quick diner to stop at for a nice meal. It has small seating and a small kitchen, so that tells me that if you come when it's busy you will have to wait a little while, but if you arrive when there aren't many customers service should be prompt. The menu doesn't have much on it, but I view that as a benefit rather than a detriment. It tells me that they focus on doing a few things right rather than doing a lot of things subpar just for the sake of having a large menu. And that's not to say that there isn't customization for what is available.I had the biscuits and gravy, and it was some of the best I've ever had. The biscuit had been buttered and toasted, where most places just leave them dry and rely on the gravy to provide taste and texture. They also offer two types, pork or turkey gravy, and the gravy had a different spice blend in it than most others, giving it a slight red tint rather than the normal gray gravy. Also, it is a little less firm than some other places, so if you are a purist who cares about those sorts of criteria, consider one of their other dishes.I definitely will put this restaurant into my breakfast option rotations.Parking: It is the downtown area, but since it's off the main street, you should be fine. The nearby lots are reserved, though
