The place itself is fine. Good for a drink or coffee on the edge of the Square. Buffet starter was good. The main courses were awful. Over cooked cheap steak with bullet chips and a fishcourse was made from rubber fish of unknown origin. I eat anything but I left it on my plate. It had been years since I had food that bad served on a plate. Dessert was fine. The staff were lovely, polite friendly and helpful.
Le Columbier is unmissable in the central square in Aulnay with its big red/orange wind out sun canopy. It gets morning sunshine so is absolutely great for coffee. The owner's wife can be a bit surly but he is great - and she definitely warms up when she gets to know you. They do events about once a month which are well attended. Parking is right in front and you can listen to the church bells and their resident campanologist. The food is okay and the fresh salad bar for starters is great. Loads of locals drop in most days and the place is heaving on Thursday and Sunday market days. Good, solid place to have in your sat nav.
I think that Panda is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city.
Not a lot to say the position is good but the rest well booof could be a very good restaurant but it isn't open at the right times and ....
