Their Pastelitos De Guayaba Y Queso and a Cafe con leche immediately transport me to my happy place they are as good, if not better than what we get back home (Miami). All the entrees we've tried are outstanding Lechon has an awesome Mojo sauce, Beef Ribs are addictive, Ropa Vieja is on point, Oxtail all great. I only wish they were closer to Denver so I could come for lunch everyday.
I went here for years and years and I live in Nebraska now. This is one of my favorite places ever and have never been disappointed.
Cuba Bakery is one of the best places I have ever eaten. I am consistently in awe at the high quality of everything they serve, even when I have had a dish several times before. Most lunch plates are $12 $20, pastries run $3 5 each and are well worth it. Breakfast dishes are $3 $5 a la carte or $10 $15 for a plate. Literally everything is amazing and I reccomend trying new things as often as you can. Don't skip the pasty section, even if you get a plate the rope vieja empanadas are divine, as are the chorizo and spinach. They keep very well, and are an amazing start to the next day. The small cakes are especially incredible, the key lime is among the best key lime pie flavors I have ever had. Red velvet is also a banger. Thank you so much for providing amazing food. I visit as a treat to myself most paydays and spend $50 100 treating my partner or housemates to assorted pastries.
Consistently excellent sandwiches. Don't sleep on the pastries either.
We tried this restaurant the day before Thanksgiving and the food is amazing! We will return!
