Every time my husband and I visit, we come to shop and eat, and we always receive great service. Today, I had the mojara, and it was perfect. The bread was limited, but delicious. It's important to remember that people often come to the Denver area during the week for business. We still managed to arrive early enough to gather our supplies and sit down to enjoy lunch before the long drive home. The food is authentically Guatemalan!
I absolutely love this place! I always order the pupusa, and it's fantastic. It's also a great spot to find Hispanic treats that are hard to come by elsewhere. I'm not sure what Miriam (or Karen, as she calls herself) is talking about—I’ve never gotten sick from the food here, not once. And honestly, if you're visiting a specialty store that offers imported goods, you can't expect Walmart prices. Anyway, I really enjoy the Salvadorian coffee they sell here. They definitely deserve a five-star rating! The staff is very kind, too.
Ok So is the restaurant a combination of countries within central America?Definitely would like to go dine thereLike in the photo of one review i saw a different flag .
Food is not bad, but pricey... 33 dollars for two orders and a drink. That's too much. They need competition now!!! 4 50 for a tamal? C'mon!on top of that they want a tip? No, I did not tip.
