Contribuisci feedbackI have been a customer at this Korean restaurant since I was a child. It is one of the original Korean restaurants in Colorado. On a recent visit, we tried their cold buckwheat noodles soup (nengmyun), which was perfect for hot days. I especially enjoy their lunch menu, where you can order it with a side of kalbi (Korean short ribs) or dumplings. The portion sizes are a bit small, and my kids were still hungry after their meal. However, for less than $20, it was worth the drive. The service is slow, as it always has been, so don't expect a quick meal. The restaurant was remodeled years ago to give it a more modern look, but the focus is still on the food. If you're in the Aurora area and looking for authentic Korean cuisine that is not overly hyped on social media, I recommend checking out this place.
I was really pleased with my experience at this restaurant. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, which reminded me of dining in Korea (although I am not Korean myself). The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We shared a full-size kimchi pancake, and I ordered naeng myun (cold noodle soup) and a pork and dumpling tofu stew to take home for dinner. My friends ordered a spicy seafood tofu stew and fish bibimbap. All the dishes were delicious. I wished the kimchi pancake had more kimchi, but it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which was really tasty. The naeng myun was good and the portion size was huge... I had so much leftover that it overflowed the takeout container. The tofu stew was also excellent, and my friends enjoyed their meals as well. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
I had an excellent experience at Silla for Korean BBQ. I went on a Saturday night and there was no wait. The restaurant is a decent size with booths where you can BBQ your own meat. We ordered the special 3 which could feed 3-4 people, along with some Mandu and beer. The meat was delicious and well marinated, and the sides were plentiful with plenty of options to choose from. We were very satisfied with the amount of food we received. They have a button you can press for assistance and when you are ready to pay. Overall, it was a great Korean BBQ restaurant and I would definitely go back again.
Finally made it back after years not visiting here. Got the bulgogi bowl with fish cake and broccoli, so perfect in combination. Great and quick service by the staff. Always love the side dishes.
I've been here twice now and have enjoyed my visit each time. The staff is friendly, it's clean and the food hits the spot! I was craving spicy cold noodles because of how warm it's been recently and the icy cold broth was so refreshing. I wish there was more meat in my soup but that's my only complaint! One day I'll spend some more money and get the bbq, bossam and pork neck soup :
