The Café - Aurora

This little gem delivers a big punch. Small but elegant upscale dining. The portions are very large...easily 2 or even 3 meals in each. Our stars last evening were the pork osso bucca with mushroom risotto and asparagus and the walleye piccata with a side of spaghetti alio olio. Stunning presentations and dynamite flavors.

The food and service here are amazing- the tight quarters and trying to have a conversation that “neighbors” aren't listening to- well not so easy! But we will return because of the food! when I don't feel like talking!????

So good we came back a week later! Fabulous food, a great setting and terrific service make for an amazing experience!! The bread is so incredible we drove 45 minutes to get it again. Everything else is delicious too and you can't go wrong no matter what you choose!

We dine at the restaurant about once per month. We are always satisfied with our meals and service. We ordered pappardelle Bolognese with sausage, peppers and onions and salmon with mashed potatoes. Our meals were delicious. They were served piping hot and the portions were generous. We will certainly recommend the restaurant to others and return in the near future.

Server Denise was great. He suggestion with meal and wine selection proved right on. Meal was not rushed and served timely, which provided time to talk with our dinner friend. Pasta was great and portions left enough for a second meal. Highly recommend Cafe Toscano
