Two Brothers Roundhouse - Aurora

I visited this restaurant for the first time with some family who were visiting from out of town. I loved sitting by the fireplace in this charming old train station. The appetizers were tasty, and I ordered the Roundhouse burger, which was excellent. The beer I enjoyed was strong, and the service was outstanding. We plan to return in the summer to dine outside in the center of the building. My wife is particularly looking forward to the coffee shop since we enjoy taking walks along the river every so often. We will definitely be back soon!

This place has a really impressive historic ambiance—it's believed to be the oldest train roundhouse still standing in the United States. Within the building, there's plenty of space managed by Two Brothers. Their coffee shop has a relaxed vibe, offering a variety of great coffee drinks and unique syrups, making it a great spot to work, although I wish it opened a bit later. The restaurant and music events are also enjoyable, and I absolutely love their canned mojitos!

The service was excellent, but the food was just average. I tried the Roundhouse favorite Walleye entrée, and unfortunately, the walleye and accompanying red sauce were quite bland and lacking in acidity. The highlight of the meal was the potato pancakes, which were quite enjoyable. My wife had the buffalo chicken wrap, which was a solid, standard preparation—nothing particularly memorable. We also shared a slice of carrot cake, which was delicious and made for a pleasant conclusion to our meal. The beer selection here is outstanding! As a brewery, they offer a fantastic variety of brews. I would definitely recommend this place as a great spot to hang out with friends and explore new beers, but don’t expect the food to impress, especially when considering the prices.

This is probably the best beer garden I have been to in the U.S.A. and has become my favorite place in Aurora. Just revisit this place and the food has improved over the years. I especially appreciated the hot fries. Sitting outside listening to a band while sipping a cold one is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place, still a gem in the suburbs.

A extra great place! A little of everything. Perfect place to enjoy with family and friends. The food was great, the live music was fenomenal the pictorical history of the place captivate us. Very thankful for the service and good attitude of everyone
